Deal Risk Board: pipeline health with the evidence behind every score. All names are fictional.

The problem

The market changes every week. Your revenue system changes slowly.

  • New objections and competitors stay hidden in calls.
  • Playbooks, scorecards, training, CRM rules, dashboards and templates drift apart.
  • Managers coach different versions of “good”.
  • Reps get different answers to the same question.
  • Leadership sees lagging results after the problem has already spread.
  • Growth means adding people, because too much capacity is lost to manual work.

The impact

What changes with Taskbase

  1. 01

    Make change executable

A new message, method, product, market or process becomes approved guidance, coaching, CRM logic, deal reviews and daily work, not another document people forget.

  2. 02

More revenue capacity without matching headcount

Taskbase completes the work around customer conversations, so the same team spends more time with customers. Taskbase measures what each rep uses and how much time it saves, so you can see it instead of assuming it.

  3. 03

    See revenue reality earlier

Pipeline, forecast, funnel leakage, customer evidence and a clear action queue for leadership, in one view.

  4. 04

    One tool, one playbook

Sales, Customer Success, Partner Management, RevOps and leaders work from the same approved answers and standards, in the chat tools they already use.

  5. 05

    Turn conversations into market intelligence

Taskbase finds changes in objections, use cases, buyer language, competitor mentions and customer needs across real conversations.

Taskbase in action

The work Taskbase takes on

Revenue Command Center

Target outlook, forecast reality, revenue risk, funnel health and the actions that need your attention.

Forecast built and challenged in Taskbase

Leaders enter their forecast, Taskbase rolls it up, and Taskbase compares it with stage evidence and what customers actually said.

Funnel leakage

See where revenue is lost and which behaviour or process change has the largest effect.

Market intelligence

Detect new objections, competitors, use cases and buyer changes before they spread.

Adoption and time saved

See which reps use Taskbase, how often, and how many hours it takes off their week.

Living playbook governance

Review and approve playbook changes suggested from real customer evidence.

From new objection to updated field guidance

  1. 1New objection detected in calls
  2. 2Leader approves the playbook update
  3. 3Reps receive updated coaching and answers
  4. 4Next calls show whether it landed

Forecasting

Build, roll up and challenge the forecast in one place

Your head of sales and managers enter their own forecast. Taskbase rolls it up by month and quarter, and Taskbase challenges every commit against what the deals and conversations actually show. You do not need a separate forecasting tool.

Leader forecast inputs and Taskbase’s challenge. All names and numbers are fictional.

Living Revenue Playbook

One approved playbook behind every answer

Taskbase does not invent a different answer for every person. It works from the approved Revenue Playbook, live customer context and the person’s role. New evidence from real calls becomes a suggestion, and the accountable leader approves it before it becomes the standard.

  1. 1

    Evidence

A new objection, competitor or question shows up in real conversations.

  2. 2

    Suggestion

Taskbase proposes a playbook change and shows the evidence.

  3. 3

    Approval

The accountable leader reviews and approves it.

  4. 4

    Updated work

Coaching, answers and automated work follow the new standard.

One change should not require updates in five systems. When you introduce a new method or message, Taskbase aligns call coaching, meeting preparation, deal risk, CRM guidance and forecast criteria from the same approved playbook.

No playbook yet?

Build your Revenue Playbook in hours, not months.

You do not need a finished playbook to start, and you do not have to build one before you can use Taskbase. Bring what you already have, and Taskbase builds the rest with you.

Objection Handling

Last updated 08/10/2026 by Anna Weber

This page is for real objections raised in discovery, demos and negotiations. Short cold-call deflections stay on the Cold Calling page.

7.1 How to handle a real objection
  • Acknowledge: Show that the concern is reasonable without conceding the deal.
  • Clarify: Ask what sits behind the objection and who else shares it.
  • Respond: Use the buyer’s situation and agreed outcomes, not generic claims.
  • Advance: Agree a concrete next step, owner and date.
7.3 Prospect-call objections

  1. 1

    Start from what you have

Upload or connect Confluence, Notion, PDFs, PowerPoint decks, Word documents, and business cases and pricing in Excel. Taskbase sorts everything into the right sections of the playbook and writes it so that AI can read it well.

  2. 2

Start from what we already know

When you sign in, Taskbase reads your website: ideal customer, product features, differentiation and the objections answered in your FAQ. The playbook starts pre-filled, not empty.

  3. 3

    Add methods with Taskbase

Ask for a MEDDICC, SPICED, SPIN or Gap Selling playbook. Taskbase builds it from Taskbase’s library of sales resources and your own information. Templates give you the structure.

  4. 4

    Keep it current from conversations

Taskbase updates the playbook from your real conversations, and you approve the changes. The playbook is ongoing work, not a project you finish before launch.

Reps never have to read the playbook. They ask Taskbase: how to handle an objection, what a product feature does, how to use MEDDICC in this deal. Because the playbook is written for AI, the answers are accurate and easy to read.

Where Taskbase fits

Not another recorder. Not another chatbot.

Not another call recorder

Recording tools tell you what happened. Taskbase helps the person do the next thing better, completes the work around it, and checks whether the new behaviour sticks. Keep the recorder you already use.

Not another generic chatbot

Generic AI can create an answer. Taskbase adds your approved context, customer evidence, individual skill memory, connected workflows, governance and follow-through.
