One interface for everyone
A standard interface for every user means many do not like it, and nobody can change it. Adoption has to be pushed by management, and it takes months, sometimes years.
Gong is the biggest name in revenue intelligence, with hundreds of features. Taskbase gives your leaders the same views as apps they choose, and gives every rep a proactive coach that adapts to their own way of working.
Outcomes first
Platform or coach
Gong is a capable platform: hundreds of features across several major tools. That is also the difficulty. A rep logs in for the first time and faces a wall of buttons, needs training, and most of what the platform can do is never used. Taskbase starts from the other end.
A standard interface for every user means many do not like it, and nobody can change it. Adoption has to be pushed by management, and it takes months, sometimes years.
The simplest interface there is: a coach you talk to, and a list of what you do together with the AI. The views come when you need them.
It learns how each rep writes, how long they want their briefing and what they ignore, and it stays within the standards you set.
The same view, as an app
Everything a sales leader looks at in Gong can be a view in Taskbase. A view is an app: the screen, the logic and the data underneath from your CRM, recorders and other tools. If an app is missing, a leader describes it in chat, Taskbase builds it in about 15 minutes, and after a few changes it becomes the standard for your reps.

Find deal
Gong’s deal board is a screenshot from Gong. The Taskbase view is a rebuild with fictional companies, people and amounts.
Choose what your reps see
One rep may use an app that the others never see. In a platform, everybody sees everything, and new reps are overwhelmed on day one.
Reps get your standard and can shape it to their needs within your guardrails: drop buttons they do not use, make the morning briefing shorter, keep the detail they like. That is where adoption comes from.
Taskbase taps into the recorder your team already uses. A rep who records in Microsoft Teams keeps doing that and does not need Gong’s recorder.
RevOps and leaders can build new apps on top of Taskbase: tell it what you want in Slack, by message or voice, and it builds the view. In Gong you work with the views Gong ships and a separate agent builder.
The playbook
Gong covers a sales methodology such as MEDDIC or SPICED, and you create battle cards around it. A sales playbook is more: the whole sales process, your products and the problems they solve, discovery and demo calls, cold calls and scripts, objections and competitors.
Coaching
Problem impact discovery, business case, active listening, challenge-focused pitching and objection handling, among others. Active listening is not only a talk ratio, and objection handling is judged against what your playbook says.
You see how every rep develops on each skill, week by week, and whether coaching changes behaviour.
Slack, Google Chat or Microsoft Teams. Taskbase repeats a point when a rep does not improve, and motivates them.
One note on one skill, instead of a long scorecard after every call.
The simplest interface
In Slack, Teams or Google Chat it is a chat. On the web it is a task list. Either way it is one place, with the views one click away.

Proactive
Taskbase watches what the rep is doing. When an email arrives, the answer is already drafted before the rep has seen it.
If a rep says “that email is bad, change it”, Taskbase changes that email and how it writes for this rep from then on. Before launch it reads the rep’s last 100 emails to learn their style.
Every interaction is a chat, so Taskbase sees what reps ask for, what frustrates them and what they ignore, and reacts. You see usage, time saved and skill growth. Clicks on a platform say little about whether it helped.
A leader can send a message through Taskbase to a rep, to motivate them to use a tool or do something. Reps do not have to log in to be reached.
Some reps want a long meeting briefing, others a short one. Taskbase learns which, for each rep, inside your standards.

Customer success, partner management, SDR, AE and AM playbooks, in one system.

In 2005, would you have chosen Salesforce as your new CRM, or Siebel on-premise? Today we face the same choice. Do you pick a legacy product, Gong, or a product built on the newest AI frameworks, AI-first, like Taskbase?
The market moves fast. Your company releases new products, AI moves fast too, and your reps need new apps all the time. On a legacy platform you wait for the vendor’s next release. With an AI-first tool you build the app yourself, on the day you need it. Do you want to wait until Gong decides to release a feature, or build it yourself?
