A forecast you can defend, built on complete data.
Taskbase scores every deal against your methodology, prepares the forecast call before it starts, fills the CRM so the data is complete, and challenges the forecast before you commit to it.

From complete data to a forecast you trust
- 1Complete dataTaskbase fills the CRM after every call, down to close dates, stages and risk criteria.
- 2Scored dealsEach deal is scored against MEDDICC or SPICED and against how it behaves.
- 3Prepared callThe forecast call brief is ready before the call starts.
- 4A second opinionThe coach challenges your forecast and suggests changes.
Why forecasts miss
Three reasons the forecast is wrong, and what Taskbase does about each
Forecasts usually fail before anyone enters a number: the data is incomplete, the score says little and the deal review happens somewhere else.
- 01
Incomplete data
There is no easier way to complete the CRM than Taskbase. It fills the data points after every call, and suggests the ones that need a person, such as close dates, stages and risk criteria.
- 02
Scores that say little
A score from stage and close date is easy, and weak. Taskbase scores against your qualification method and recognises a close date that keeps being pushed.
- 03
Forecast and deal review apart
Most tools forecast or review deals. Taskbase does both, so the number and the evidence behind it sit together.
Complete data
The data is complete because filling it is no work
One of the biggest issues with a forecast is missing data. After every call Taskbase updates the CRM, suggests a new close date or a stage change, and flags what the call does not support.

Your CRM updates after today’s calls
I’ve refreshed the pain, priorities, tools and impact for Northwind Freight, Helio Logistics and Corvin Software. Amounts, dates, stages and ownership are unchanged.
Northwind Freight
- Timing decision — replace the overdue 30 September close date with 30 October, conditional on legal clearance. Daniel expects signature within one to two weeks; the quote’s planned 1 November pilot start is separate.
- Stage — keep Power Agreement. Budget is available, but legal and data-protection requirements remain unresolved.
- Money — €8,900 ARR = 3 × €1,800 annual licences + 3 × €1,200 annual data package. The separate €4,100 pilot is not ARR.
Helio Logistics — Maria Keller
- Stage — keep Meeting Booked for now: the workflows are validated, but this publisher falls outside the published software-product ICP. Is this an intentional exception?
- Scope — six advisers confirmed; price and billing period remain unknown. Today’s call does not substantiate the existing €10,000 amount.
Corvin Software
- Stage — keep Problem Agreement. Churn and adoption pressures are clear; priority, scope and urgency are not yet agreed.
- Forecast flag — the 31 October close date and €20,000 amount are not supported by today’s conversation. Roughly 70 sellers is not an agreed seat purchase.
Taskbase’s CRM review in the team chat. Companies, people and amounts are fictional.
- All the data points, even the ones that cannot be filled in automatically: Taskbase asks the rep, in the chat they already use.
- Close dates, stages and risk criteria, with the reason for each suggestion.
- Works with any CRM that has an API or an MCP.
Deal scores
A score that knows your methodology
The simple scores in HubSpot, Salesforce and other CRMs run on stage, close date and amount. The Taskbase score reads the calls against MEDDICC or SPICED and watches behaviour, such as a close date that is pushed again and again.

For every rep
Deals prioritised, and the next question already chosen
Taskbase ranks each rep’s deals and approaches them proactively: this is what to do on this account, and this on the next. The morning briefing adds the qualification questions to ask, taken from your playbook’s method.

Put in your forecast, and get a second opinion
Each leader enters their own numbers once a month and updates them as the forecast moves. Taskbase rolls them up and checks the commit against the deals, then suggests whether to keep it or change it.
