Hey Anya 👋 I saw your cold call with Sabine.

Do you mind if I give feedback on your pitch at the start of the call?

Improving this can lead to >34% more booked meetings.

Sure, go ahead.

Great. The first thing I noticed is the early jump into the pitch.

📞 Your discovery call with Daniel Moser from Northwind Freight
🕐 14:02 · 38 min

✅ What worked

📌 You found the real blocker, then shrank the ask to fit it

Daniel opened with budget worries. Instead of defending the price, you asked what the concern actually was: timing, not money. You moved the start to Q1 and kept the pilot scope, so the deal stopped depending on a decision he couldn’t make this quarter.

⚡ Highest-impact improvement

📌 The call ended without a date for the next step

The moment in your call

“Sounds good, let’s stay in touch.”

Instead

“Before we close: your ops lead signs off above 20k. Can we book 30 minutes with her next Tuesday?”

Why it matters

A next step without an owner and a date isn’t progress. [Playbook: Discovery — Plan agreement]

Next time

Close every discovery call by naming the next decision-maker and putting a date on that meeting.

📈 Progress since last time

Probing for the real blocker was the gap on your call on 22 Sep. Today you led with it. Trending up.

🌟 You turned a budget objection into a Q1 pilot in 38 minutes. Book the ops meeting and this deal is moving.

Northwind just told me they already record every call, so they don’t need coaching. What do I say?

Taskbase CoachApp10:42

“We already record our calls”

Objection from your playbook · handled in 14 calls this quarter

  1. Agree: recording calls is the right first step.
  2. Reframe: a recording shows what happened. Coaching changes what happens on the next call.
  3. Ask: “When a rep loses a deal, how long until someone tells them why?”

Lea used this with Vega Retail on 12 Sep. The deal moved to a demo.

Playbook

Living Revenue Playbook

Your Revenue Playbook stays alive — powered by every call your team makes. New objections become suggestions; nothing changes until a sales leader accepts it.

Objection handling & competitive intelligence

Last updated 21/09/2026

Suggestion i

“How is this different from connecting everything to ChatGPT and just asking the same questions myself?”

“That works for one answer. Taskbase keeps a grounded, source-linked system: your playbook plus real calls, written back to the CRM, and it returns to the same rep and skill over time — so coaching compounds instead of resetting.”

Don’t argue model quality. Move from ‘a one-off answer’ to ‘a maintained system that compounds’. Close on who owns the DIY route.

RejectAccept

Based on

New objection variant from a discovery call on 15 Sep. The rep didn’t handle it cleanly. Proposed row added to the 7.2 objection table.

Why Taskbase

Adoption is the difference.

A coach only works if reps use it. Taskbase comes to them, in the tools they already work in, so nobody has to learn another platform.

Proactive

Taskbase reaches out before the call, after the call and when a skill needs work. Reps never have to remember to open a dashboard.

Chat first

Coaching lives in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and the web app. There is no new daily tool to log in to.

Dynamic interfaces

Chat is the default. When a task needs more, Taskbase builds the screen for it from templates your team can change.

What high adoption means

When the coach reaches every rep, the effect shows up in the numbers.

Adoption>80%of reps use the coach every day
Time saved1–2 hper rep per day on admin, prep and follow-up
Skill growth1% a daycompounds to about 38× in a year (1.01 to the power of 365). The arithmetic, not a forecast.

Measured, not assumed

See how reps actually use the coach

Many revenue AI tools hand reps a call summary, a feedback note or a follow-up email to copy, and never learn whether anyone used it. Taskbase measures how each rep uses the coach and how much time it saves them. You see adoption and hours saved per person, next to skill progress.

From our own playbook

What our sales team learned recently

We run Taskbase on our own calls. These are real suggestions our team accepted into its playbook, with names removed.

  • Discovery

Agree on three things before moving on

Before the next step, agree that the problem is real, why it matters now, and which use case is the best place to test. If one is missing, ask which part isn’t strong enough yet.

    Added to the discovery playbook

  • Competitive answer

“We’ll just build it with Claude.”

Agree first: a prototype is quick. Then move the question to ownership. “Who would own it after launch, and how much ongoing capacity have you allocated?”

    From recent prospect conversations

  • Objection answer

“We’re on holiday. Let’s look at this in September.”

Four calls died on the same summer brush-off, and the playbook had no answer. The new answer: book the slot for the week after they return, free to cancel, and land the pitch in one sentence so the callback has a reason to exist.

From four cold calls in one week

  • Customer use case

Coaching that adapts country by country

A multinational reseller sells differently in Switzerland, France and North America. Start with one shared coaching baseline, then split into country groups only where the calls show real differences.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions sales leaders ask us most.

Still have questions?

Contact us if you have any other questions.

What is Taskbase?

Taskbase is an AI revenue coach for revenue teams. It combines your Revenue Playbook with real customer and deal context. It helps reps prepare for meetings, improve sales skills, complete follow-up work, and keep customer records current. It also helps sales leaders coach their teams without reviewing every call themselves.

How does Taskbase improve sales performance?

Taskbase works on two parts of sales performance: selling time and selling quality. It removes work around customer conversations, such as research, meeting preparation, follow-ups, and record updates. It also gives each rep focused coaching based on their real conversations, skill gaps, and your company’s sales standards.

How is Taskbase different from a call-recording or conversation-intelligence tool?

Call-recording tools mainly explain what happened. Taskbase helps decide what should happen next. It uses conversation data together with your Revenue Playbook, customer history, and rep skill profile. It then prepares the next meeting, coaches the rep, supports follow-up work, and identifies useful updates for the Revenue Playbook. It does not ask you to replace your recorder: if you already record with Gong, Fireflies, Fathom, Kickscale, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom, Taskbase connects on top of it.

Do we have to replace our current call recorder?

No. If your recording already works, keep it. Taskbase connects to tools such as Gong, Fireflies, Fathom and Kickscale, and to calls recorded in Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom. It adds the coaching and the follow-up work on top. Where nothing is recorded yet, Taskbase can capture video calls, in-person meetings and phone calls on iPhone and Android, and its desktop recorder works without a bot joining the call.

Do sales reps need to learn another tool?

No new daily work area is required. Reps can use Taskbase through Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, or the Taskbase web app. The coach can bring preparation, answers, feedback, and next actions to the rep. This reduces the need to search across several tools or remember complex prompts.

What sales work can Taskbase automate?

Taskbase can support meeting research, pre-call briefings, follow-up drafts, customer-record updates, deal-risk checks, prospect prioritisation, business cases, presentations, handovers, project plans, and security questionnaires. You choose the first use cases. Important customer-facing work stays under human review.

How long does it take to get started with Taskbase?

The first step is to connect the required tools and add your current sales content. Taskbase can start with one team and one clear use case. A focused rollout lowers risk and creates faster proof. More work, teams, and data sources can be added after the first workflow is working well.

How do we measure the value of Taskbase?

Start with your own baseline. Common measures include time spent on preparation and follow-ups, customer-facing activity, manager coaching time, ramp time, conversion, deal movement, and record quality. A pilot should define the baseline, target, users, evidence, review date, and rollout decision before it begins.

Who is Taskbase best suited for?

Taskbase is best suited for B2B revenue teams with repeatable customer conversations and clear sales standards. It is especially useful when managers cannot coach every rep, the playbook is not used consistently, reps lose time to admin work, or the company needs to scale onboarding and execution.

How much does Taskbase cost?

Taskbase costs €199 per sales rep per month for teams with up to 50 reps. Custom pricing applies to teams with more than 50 reps. The paid plans include the AI coach, playbook management, coaching support, integrations, recordings, and skill dashboards. Approved volume and scope-based discounts may apply.

Can we try Taskbase before buying?

Yes. Taskbase offers a free two-week trial with full product access. Before the trial starts, both sides should agree on the users, main use case, baseline, success measure, and decision date. This makes the trial a clear business test rather than unstructured product access.
